Abstract: This paper investigates the potential for implementing a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) at Gdynia Maritime University (GMU), a major traffic generator in the seaport city of Gdynia. A survey of GMU students and staff revealed that their transport habits do not align with sustainable mobility principles. The study highlights the importance of a mobility plan to promote greener travel choices, reduce congestion, and improve urban quality of life. Collaboration with Gdynia City Hall is recommended to create synergies and support sustainable development in the city’s busy seaport area.
