Abstract: Founded in 1974, WISTA International is a global organization connecting over 5,100 female professionals in the maritime industry. With support from 59 National WISTA Associations (NWAs), the organization provides networking, skill-building, and business opportunities. NWAs promote industry relationships at national and regional levels while contributing to WISTA’s global network, which offers members access to a diverse community of maritime and trading executives for referrals, advice, and business collaborations.
