Abstract: This study explores how global citizenship, work values, service attitudes, and competencies shape career development for cruise staff. Findings show that a global outlook enhances work values, service attitudes, and career skills, which in turn strengthen career self-awareness. Service mindset and skills act as key links between global citizenship, job values, and career identity. The study highlights the importance of integrating global citizenship education and skill-building to address workforce gaps in the cruise industry, offering insights for cruise companies to support their ESG initiatives.
